Welcome! I’m Kesia Burdett—storytelling runs through my veins, whether it’s through words, visuals, or ideas that make people feel something real.
Originally from Cape Town, I recently moved to Johannesburg, navigating new creative opportunities, challenges, and inspirations along the way.
My journey has been anything but linear—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve worked across content creation, social media, film, brand storytelling, and real estate marketing, shaping how businesses connect with their audiences in ways that feel authentic and human.

I’ve shaped digital narratives at First AI, helped businesses build authentic brands like JJS Dentistry, and managed the online presence for some of South Africa’s most well-known restaurants, including Old Town Italy, Harbour House, Lucky Fish & Chips, Grand Africa Café & Beach, Tiger’s Milk, La Parada, Live Bait, and The Lookout.
But my creativity doesn’t stop at marketing. I’ve written scripts for television and short films, worked as a freelance writer across industries, and am currently deep into a writing project that means the world to me.
Beyond work, you’ll find me figure skating, painting, or capturing the world through my lens—always searching for something worth telling. I believe in pushing creative boundaries, in work that feels meaningful, and in finding the magic in the details.
